The Compas Table is a further example of Jean Prouvé's brilliance as a designer. Around 1950, the French designer developed a base frame, formally reminiscent of a set of compasses, or in French 'le compas'.
It takes up the vocabulary of Jean Prouvé's architectural steel structures and went into serial production, a characteristic of almost all the objects created by Prouvé, the pioneer of prefabricated elements. Available with a laminate cream top and black base.
