In 2003 bar chairs SB 05 ( synthetic cane), SB 06 (saddle leather) and SB 07 (upholstered version) were introduced, a higher version of the dining chairs from 1960. Currently we offer XL-version, which makes two different seating heights available.
As this bar stool really has a back, like the original chair, it allows a very comfortable way of high seating. Synthetic cane is a strong, flexible material. It is colour-fast and easy to clean. Available in black, caramel-coloured and off white. The bar chair in saddle leather is available in black and in a cognac-colour.
Natural leather is a non coloured leather and will darken under the influence of light. It will be delivered in an almost pink tone and fade into a warm cognac tone. The time it will take to fade from a pink into a cognac tone will depend of the amount and the kind of light. But it will be at least several months.
Saddle leather will also stretch a little over time. The leather seat has a lace at the bottom, which gives the possibility to tighten the seat after a while. Any marks on the leather should not be considered as faults. These merely confirm the authenticity and quality of saddle leather. The upholstered bar stool can be delivered in any fabric required.
