The Meander series was designed by Rudolf Wolf in 1963. The Alpha dining chair, the Beta armchair and the Gamma club armchair were characterised by the contrast between ergonomically rounded contact areas and a geometric frame.
The "seat dish" appears to float, reflecting Wolfs' utopian vision of chair-free seating. In 1964, the Gamma won an International Design Award in the US. The frame is lacquered in aluminium grey RAL 9006 or black RAL 9011.
