• Poul Kjærholm and Jørgen Høj The Flagline Chair
The chair is designed by Jørgen Høj and Poul Kjærholm in 1952 for Thorvald Madsen's Workshop and it was on the Cabinet Maker's Guild's exhibition the same year. PP Furniture resumed the production of JH 106 in 1993.

The chair's strict design is convincing and performed with great confidence. It presents itself as geometrical and almost transparent, and hereby meets modernism's criteria of letting the functional control the shape and design, cutting away anything obsolete. The chair seems both self-effacing and remarkable, made to enter into a sophisticated dialogue with its surroundings.
