The upholstered parts are contained by sides and back in wood forming a kind of shell. This constructional technique permits the setting, alongside and behind, of the little items of occasional furniture that go to complete the set.
For these units, containers and tables, the designer has chosen wood of a notable thickness, the same as the wooden parts of the sofa and the other items that go with it. The same wood is used for the bookcase, backed and with fixed-level shelving, with a single frontal support. The proportions are elegant and the thickness of the wood and the support recall the contours of a book.
The scheme is completed with small, low tables in glass - with white or black painted bases - divided in sections in the same way as the furniture alongside the sofa.
