In Carré, Matteo Thun one of the most successful designers of our time has created an exceptionally striking range of upholstered furniture. The clean, geometrical designs exude elegance and refinement.
The enclosing, load bearing chrome plated stainless steel frame reinforces the pieces air of self-assurance and gives them a light appearance, almost as though they were floating in mid-air. The distinctive seams underline the quality of the upholstery. Despite its severely geometrical forms, Carré is extremely comfortable thanks to the special sinuous arc springing and polyurethane foam sandwich upholstery. The back cushions are removable.
Carré's individualistic design is suited both to stylish home settings and to architectural projects. Carré armchairs and sofas come in three sizes (178, 217 and 266 cm). There is also a table to round off the suite, with upholstered sides that can be finished in the same leather or fabric as the chairs. The tabletop, which rests freely on the frame, is available in clear or milk glass.
