With the Rotor Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen have success-fully managed to combine a high level of functionalism with beautiful forms. Dependent on the positioning of the back units, Rotor transforms itself from a two-seat sofa to a tÃªte-Ã -tÃªte sofa or a chaise longue. The tall backrests, when closed, turn Rotor into a private piece of furniture, which in turn also invites dialogue when the back is opened. Rotor is Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzenâ€™s first work assignment for Erik JÃ¸rgensen. Rotor was also Erik JÃ¸rgen-senâ€™s first piece of furniture specifically aimed at the contract market, and today the sofa is one of the classics in the contract programme.
