Hannes Wettstein saw a wonderful possibility in the design of the AirSeat for linking it to the pavilion idea. Both the indoor-outdoor concept and the aspect of mobility are again taken up.
The product is packaged in a bag with carrying straps. When unpacked, it is transformed into three-dimensionality with a hand pump. The packaging too. The result is two forms: A seat shell and a cylinder. Depending upon the positioning of the cylinder, namely in front of the seat shell functioning as a leg rest, the ensemble can become a couch.
Positioned behind the seat shell, the cylinder guarantees an upright posture of the same and the pair becomes an easy chair. Both components are made of polyurethane and have a slight embossment. This ensures optimal comfort, as it is anti-skid and promises a pleasant surface feel.
