In tropical solid wood Wogg has found another material that can be worked with in very small dimensions. The wood is acquired from the manufacturer "Precious Woods", which operates a sustainable, ecological and socially responsible forestry business in Central America and Brazil. The Muirapiranga wood, also known as Satiné, is extraordinary resistant even without or only minimal surface treatment.
Frédéric Dedelley has designed a screen for Wogg. The screen impresses with its minimal profiles and the reflection that is evocated by the working of the facets. The elements are connected through an ingenious joint technique. This results in a vertical plane that transports marvellously the liveliness and warmth of the wood. The screen is a product that is made solely out of wood and applying modernest chiping technique.
