The Paris-chair, designed by 23 years old Arne Jacobsen, was awarded silver-medal at the world exhibition in Paris in 1925. Arne Jacobsen did also contribute with plans for the Danish pavillion at the exhibition. The chair has been hand crafted following the original 1925 design.
The Paris-chair is made of natural rattan on a solid frame of cane. Cushions for the Paris-chair are available in plain coloured cotton from Kvadrat in DK-Ebeltoft. The standard cushions consists of 3 connected down cushions, each with separate zippers. The teflontreated cotton from Kvadrat in DK-Ebeltoft is water and dirt resistant and washable at temperatures to 40 deg.C. or 100 deg.F.
