The wooden elements which make up the chair (leg and seat, leg and backret) are similar in form to that refined aboriginal weapon, the boomerang. The chair is stackable and is made of solid sections of a variety of different woods. Two transverse metal members, screw-fitting without joints or adhesives, connect the two legs and support the seat and backrest which are padded and may be covered in leather or fabric. The width of the chair may easily be adjusted and the modular construction simplifies its manufacture, transport and, if necessary, replacement.
